Job summary This post is open to Registered Nurses. A great opportunity has arisen for an RN to join the Hewitt Fertility Clinic in Liverpool. One full time position available. Here you will work as part of a team delivering a high quality standard of care within the Hewitt Fertility Centre. Organise, facilitate, and monitor individualised patient care. Undertake the role of a link nurse within the department as and when required. Main duties of the job As part of the Fertility Team you will gain experience in each of the areas within the fertility unit. This will enable you to work with patients within each of these areas. These include, Assisting at procedures eg egg collections Recovery of patients after sedation and pre and post sedation care Assisting at a variety of clinics, infertility, IVF appointments Teaching patients how to perform injections and explaining treatment cycles/ pathways and drugs involved Assisting at ultrasound appointments and giving information following these appointments. Triaging patients and providing help, guidance and advice via the telephone and also face to face. Develop a knowledge of fertility treatments and care pathways Have an understanding of the regulatory body Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority and adhere to the code of practice. Actively participate in audit and the quality management system. Adhere to the trust values and vision.
