We are currently recruiting Trunk Sewer Technicians to join our team in South London. Working as part of a team, you will be required to carry out routine operations and basic process maintenance of our main trunk sewer network.What you’ll be doing as a Trunk Sewer TechnicianThis is a safety-focused role and will require you to work closely with your team members.Day to day you will be maintaining and operating the sewer network and its associated assets whilst carrying out basic mechanical maintenance and fault finding. The work involves confined space access working in some of London’s most challenging Subterranean areas.What should you bring to the role?
1. Complete planned, emergency and defect maintenance of the trunk sewer network. Previous experience in maintenance would be advantageous and in particular mechanical bias, with previous qualifications desirable but not essential.
2. Complete manual handling activities to operate large mechanical assets and grounds maintenance; therefore, you must be physically fit and prepared to work in a challenging environment daily.
3. Have a proactive approach to your work and demonstrate that you can work positively and effectively within a team environment.
4. You will need to be a keen and motivated team member, able to demonstrate initiative and a flexible approach to work.
