The Role
KPMG's Strategy & Performance Transformation practice is looking for exceptional candidates for a Director role, focusing on the Consumer, Retail & Leisure industry with particular experience in Deal Strategy. Additional experience in Growth Strategy, Cost and Operational strategy, and Enterprise-wide Transformation will also be valuable.
The Strategy & Performance Transformation team is part of KPMG's rapidly expanding Strategy Group, delivering value for clients by challenging conventional thinking and executing with investor-grade rigour. We are a diverse team of over 150 practitioners, working collaboratively within our Advisory business.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Director within our Strategy & Performance Transformation, applicants will be expected to:
1. Take a senior leadership role with the team and clients.
2. Have existing client relationships, particularly with the UK/European Private Equity and M&A community.
3. Take responsibility for client relationships and act as a key contact point.
4. Anticipate, understand, and articulate client requirements.
5. Demonstrate excellent communication skills in various formats.
6. Lead the presentation of findings to senior clients.
7. Design and run large, complex projects.
8. Guide the team to client-ready deliverables.
9. Support and review complex analyses.
10. Identify go-to-market opportunities.
11. Act as a leader in the S&PT and inspire junior team members.
12. Ensure adherence to the firm's risk management frameworks.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Experience
1. Demonstrable experience in a leading strategy consulting business or Big 4 firm.
2. Strong understanding of value drivers in the Consumer sector.
3. Experience leading mid-sized and large projects.
4. Ability to generate sales opportunities.
5. Initiating marketing and sales efforts.
6. Ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
7. Strong track record of building followership.
8. Non-client facing roles in internal responsibilities.
Technical Skills
1. Strong academic track record.
