To provide expert health & safety advice for all levels of personnel within the Trust and taking a lead on developing health and safety management systems, policies and guidance To promote health and safety Trust-wide and at local health and safety groups and ensuring full consultation and engagement of staff in the safety process takes place To audit health and safety standards and systems and provide reports for managers To develop, evaluate and deliver specialist core training courses to meet statutory and mandatory standards as required The post holder will assist the Health and Safety Manager and Head of Health and Safety in providing expertise and leadership to ensure effective interpretation of health and safety strategy and policy into operational delivery. This will include the development and promotion of effective relationships with a range of stakeholders and networks across a range of internal and external partners.
