Marketing is at the heart of our business; we’ve grown the team in the last 12 months and we’re now looking to expand it further, with the new role of Marketing Executive. As Marketing Executive, reporting into the Marketing Manager, you’ll help shape and deliver stellar marketing activity and drive further commercial growth.
What you'll be doing:
* Commercial lead generation using a variety of methods.
* Market research initiatives to identify new target audiences, trends and opportunities.
* Writing content for a variety of marketing material across multiple platforms.
* Management of social media channels including posting, scheduling and reviewing.
* Exhibitions and live events, including organisation, promotion, set-up and on-site operations.
* Collaborating with the wider team on building an engaging employer brand.
* Photography of sites, people and events for internal and external use.
* Monitoring and reporting on our and competitor activity.
* Maintaining our calendar of key industry dates and scheduled marketing initiatives.
* Ensuring consistent presence and company message across external sites and social media eg industry directories, Linked In, Glassdoor.
* Maintaining department databases and records.
* Measuring and reporting on website and digital performance using appropriate analytics tools, including Google GA4 and Google Ads.
* Staying informed about the latest trends in digital marketing, sharing knowledge with the team and suggesting new ideas.
* Acting as a brand ambassador, demanding brand excellence and consistency in everything we do.
* Internal branding, including mobile filters, uniform, merchandise and stationery.
* General marketing and admin support.
What we're looking for:
* Proven track record in B2B marketing.
* Understanding of key marketing principles and strategies.
* Experience of successfully managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong knowledge of and interest in lead generation and market research.
* Working knowledge of social media platforms, digital marketing tools and analytics.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to make recommendations.
* Outstanding copywriting skills with high standards of accuracy.
* Confident communication skills with the ability to build rapport and effective relationships.
* Excellent organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Excel.
* A full driving licence and the flexibility to travel in the UK and overseas.
* A degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
* Experience working on live event organisation would be an advantage.
* Photography and video skills would be an advantage.
