Here you will be looking after and covering the Northern region of England, responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, maximising business potential, and building strong client relationships. You will be based at home with frequent travel within your region, covering the North of England. As someone who thrives on providing excellent customer services and enjoys both developing and nurturing existing client relationships whilst identifying new opportunities; you will help in driving business growth sustainably, within the UK Wastewater sector. As a Key Account Manager, your role will also include: • Working closely and collaborating with internal teams, including Proposals, Project Management, and Engineering to ensure seamless project execution. • Represent the company at regional and national trade shows, delivering impactful presentations. • Stay ahead of industry trends to anticipate sales opportunities and market needs. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including framework agreements and renewals. What You’ll Need: Ideally based local to the North of England, as someone who enjoys building long term client relationships and has an entrepreneurial approach, you will: • Have a qualification in Engineering or related field (desirable). • Proven experience in the wastewater industry. • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies. • Strong key account management and sales experience, ideally within wastewater, but design engineering experience will also be considered. • Experience in proposals, quotations, or design engineering would be advantageous. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting relationships. • Proactive and self-motivated with a track record of identifying and developing new business opportunities. This is a field-based role covering the North of England, so a full UK driving licence and access to your own transport is a must.
