How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The filling plant operator will be responsible for the filling and movement of cylinders of Medical and Industrial gases and also on the quality control based on the GMP (Good Manufacturing Process).
1. Preparing empty cylinders for filling
2. Filling and handling high pressure cylinders while following Air Liquides safety requirements
3. Responsible for quality and safety control
4. Administration and ongoing process involvement
5. Prepare, inspect, set up, monitor and operate filling equipment
6. Communicate with maintenance and management on issues concerning cylinders
7. Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practices
8. Keep workstation area and housekeeping at company standards
9. Maintain and improve efficiency standards through teamwork
10. Produce quality product in the required time frame
11. Perform quality test to check fill weights, proper labeling and coding
12. Perform proper cleaning of product tanks
13. Ability to perform tasks in other areas if needed
14. Ability to lift and/or roll cylinders as necessary
15. Operating material handling equipment including forklifts
16. Shipping of cylinder in accordance to TDG regulations
17. Assembling pallets and loading/unloading trucks
Are you a MATCH?
1. Minimum 1-2 years experience in the industrial sector
2. Education: high school diploma; has to be qualified on Medical filling process and GMP
3. Knowledge of compressed gases is an asset
4. Good written and oral communication skills
5. Forklift experience is an asset
6. Must be physically fit, have an excellent work ethic and be a quick learner

5. Must be able to perform product changeovers, minor operational troubleshooting and adjustments to equipment as needed.

8. Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be flexible in working hours. Afternoons and/or evening shifts required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be physically fit. Ability to lift and/or roll cylinders as necessary. They are going to be tested for: Audiometric Screen, Breath Alcohol, Urine Express Panel 5, 35LB Fitness-to-Work, and Vision Test.
