Your responsibilities will be the evaluation of enterprise risk management, operating under the supervision of the Head of Risk. You will be crucial in supporting the development and upkeep of a comprehensive risk management framework across the organisation. Your primary responsibilities will involve evaluating enterprise risk management under the supervision of the Head of Risk. You will play a vital role in developing and maintaining a comprehensive risk management framework across the organisation. This will require collaboration with business leaders, engaging in discussions and risk assessments with risk owners, and ensuring the effectiveness of existing controls.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process to assist in the development of significant stress scenarios.
- Lead initiatives aimed at risk mitigation and enhancing controls.
- Help create and continuously manage a risk governance framework, which includes risk documentation and promoting a risk-aware culture through training and effectiveness evaluations.
- Identify and address control deficiencies and failures.
- Support the preparation and compilation of reports for the Board and Committees.
- Contribute to the identification and analysis of critical risks, risk appetites, and key risk indicators (KRIs).
Requirements:
- 2 - 3 years of experience in Risk Management within the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with Risk and Control owners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- A solid academic background.
