Buckinghamshire Libraries are looking for a Library Services Officer to join our friendly team in the Burnham group based mainly in Burnham, but also working at Iver Heath and Gerrards Cross libraries when required. We are seeking people who share our focus on customer service and who would enjoy engaging people with services that can enrich their lives.

About the role
Here at Buckinghamshire Council we currently have an exciting opportunity at Gerrards Cross Library for a Library Services Officer who will be responsible for the efficient provision of a customer-focused library service.
This role is 29.75 hours per week as follows:
1. Tuesday 9am-7pm
2. Thursday 9am-5pm
3. Friday 9am-5pm
4. Every other Saturday 9.30am-4pm
The starting salary is £25,078 pro rata, which is an hourly rate of £13.00.
Although the role is mainly based at Burnham Library, there will be times when you are needed to work at other Library Branches in the area, such as Gerrards Cross or Iver Heath.

About the Business Unit
Our Communities directorate works across the county to deliver a number of the key customer-facing services that our residents, businesses and visitors rely on every day.

* maintaining our roads and Rights of Way network and parking
* ensuring the delivery of school transport, and supporting sustainable travel including public bus services and School Crossing Patrollers
