We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Administrator to join our team at Heath Farm Fostering. This role is based in our office in Herne Bay.

We are part of the National Fostering Group – the UK’s largest independent fostering family.
Our highly skilled and dedicated fostering community supports Local Authorities by providing short or long-term foster placements for thousands of vulnerable children and teenagers throughout the UK. Almost all of our 33 regional fostering agencies are officially recognised by Ofsted, Welsh and Scottish regulators as either ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’, it is perhaps not surprising that more people choose to foster with our fostering agencies than any other fostering provider in the UK.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administrative service to our fostering team and ensure our agency runs effectively and efficiently. You will provide a high-quality service to all internal and external stakeholders, including meeting and greeting and answering all incoming calls.
Being our first point of contact for our staff and carers, you will be dealing with incoming queries effectively and managing information confidentially. You will be in your comfort zone supporting the team and the managers with tasks including minuting, projects and research when required.

Who we are looking for
You will have Admin experience of working within an office environment and supporting a busy team. The successful candidate will need a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel to create reports. It is important that you are able to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment. You should have the ability to meet tight deadlines and work calmly under pressure with a flexible working attitude. You must be organised with the ability to manage numerous tasks and deadlines. Teamwork is important as well as being able to work on your own initiative.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop your own personal skills and capability though on-going training as agreed with your line manager.
