What to expect
You’ll need previous coaching or supervisory experience ina customer facing role. You’ll spend your time running shifts withour customers at the core, through coaching your team and creatinga positive learning environment to your partners on shift. You’llbe solving problems in the moment, so any experience you have inleading operational activities in a retail or hospitalityenvironment would be beneficial.
The best partabout this role is that no two days are ever the same. Working inone of our fast-paced stores, a typical day couldinclude:
* Collaborating with theStore Manager, leading great shifts, supporting partners, andinspiring best moments and the Starbucks Experience for ourpartners and customers
* Setting priorities andresources to determine roles and delegate tasks, looking at ways todrive the profitability of your store
* Inspiring and motivating the store team to make everymoment right for our partners and customers, including pre-emptingand adapting to any potential issues and addressing/resolving anythat arise to optimise the customer experience
* Identifying teachable moments to share best practiceswith the team
* Executing store operationsduring scheduled shifts, including organising opening and closingduties
* Ensuring all partners follow Starbucksoperational policies and procedures, including those for cashhandling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of allpartners during each shift
* Providing qualitybeverages and food products consistently for all customers byadhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health,safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
Given the nature of our stores, our workinghours could include early mornings, evenings, weekends.
