Purpose of the Role Join the Finance team as a Senior Finance Analyst where you’ll play a key role in providing support to the Purchasing function in Bentley, aiding the decision making process through various activities to include scenario modelling and evaluations of outputs, owning budgets and guiding stakeholders. Reporting into the Financial Controller - Purchasing your main responsibilities include; Business partnering across all areas of Purchasing to assist with achieving their material, investment and overhead cost targets Identifying risks and opportunities through the year to achieve the adjusted target and any adjusted company profit targets Feeding the output into the appropriate forecasts/budgets Assisting with Planning Round inputs Proactively engaging in streamlining current Purchasing and controlling processes Timely and accurate processing of designated month end tasks, ensuring understanding of any variances before the close of play on working day one Managing Material Cost and Supplier tooling annual and lifetime project budgets identifying Risks and Opportunities Reporting the weekly material cost movements for Cost control vehicles About The Team The Purchasing Finance team is responsible for steering the finances for the material cost of our current and future model lines including supplier tooling, ensuring that all cost and investment targets are achieved. Active in forecasting, budgeting planning and risk and opportunity management, achieved through collaboration with key stakeholders in Purchasing, manufacturing, R&D and Finance within Bentley and the wider VW group. As part of a dynamic, agile team, you will manage, develop and lead activities cross functionally.
