We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Support Worker to join our team, providing tailored support to individual with acquired brain injuries and mental health challenges. This part-time role (18 hours per week) includes weekday shifts, helping our client maintain their independence and well-being. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, understanding, and a proactive approach to improving quality of life. Parts of the job role include supporting the client to look after her home, her pets (cats and large dog), and support her when she is with her children. Working hours: Part time 18 hours per week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10am-4pm Rates of Pay: £14.50 - £15.25 per hour Essential Requirements: Experience with brain injuries/ mental health experience. Ability to complete accurate and clear shift records digitally, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with clients and their families. Patience and adaptability to meet the unique needs of the client. Must be comfortable with large dogs. Must have or be willing to get an adult and child workforce DBS A full driving licence is essential Desirable Requirements: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualifications). Experience working with clients who have complex injuries or neurodiverse conditions. Knowledge of brain injury. Mental Health First Aid certification or similar.
