A rare and exciting opportunity is available for an exceptional Midwife and educator to join the Practice Education Team as a Practice Placement Facilitator. This senior role is key in ensuring the trust is the best place to work and train, by supporting practice placement learning, growing our future midwifery workforce and working with our University partners. You will supporting students on all midwifery programmes.
To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the
creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means
demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and
empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams/departments and across organisational boundaries.
You will also maintain yourclinical dexterity and credibilityby working as a midwife within all clinical midwifery services.

To manage the quality of the clinical midwifery learning environments by taking a lead role in placement audit and evaluation; provides support, educational input and development activities for educators / supervisors and learners alike.
