Our client, a leading independent service provider, is currently seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to join their dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As the Finance Administrator, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive support to the finance department, with a primary focus on managing the sales ledger.
The responsibilities:
* Handle customer account inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
* Accurately input various financial and operational data into Sage.
* Coordinate with customers to obtain necessary purchase order numbers when applicable.
* Ensure accurate allocation of payments and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
* Process and post client invoices on a weekly basis.
* Assist in resolving aged debt issues and support the debt management process.
* Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements.
* Record and reconcile payments in Sage, including month-end reconciliations for associated businesses and petty cash across branches.
The candidate:
* Proven experience within a similar financial administrative support role.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing environments and anticipate needs effectively.
