We are currently looking to recruit a UK Parts Manager. The main focus of the UK Parts Manager involves leading and managing the parts department to ensure its smooth operation. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations. The role is also critical in building and maintaining relationships with external suppliers, internal business areas, and the dealer network, as well as driving business growth and achieving departmental targets and company goals. This role requires a blend of leadership, relationship management, business acumen, and a strong customer focus. What we offer: What we offer: As the UK Parts Manager, reporting to the UK Service & Operations Director, the key focus will be Leading the UK Parts Team and managing the daily operational duties and carrying out purchasing for STILL UK Spare Parts demands. Ensure the marketing, sales & operational fulfilment of spare parts. Achieving departmental targets, company goals, internal & external customer business relationships & stakeholder management. Being the key liaison for Spare Parts best practice & organisational alignment with STILL Group Hamburg & KION ITS UK & Ireland Identify opportunities to improve parts margin & reduce waste STILL UK offer high quality in-house product training to allow experienced Leaders to maximise their potential. We offer a competitive salary,with bonus potential based on team and Company performance Company Car or Car Allowance 26 days holidays Company Pension Scheme Your duties and responsibilities will include : Develop and carry out the spare parts marketing plan (incl. offers) Development of the spare parts price policy (in conjunction with Hamburg) Introduction prices and conditions of spare parts in SAP Preparation and monitoring of the spare part target for the Exclusive Distributer network Attention to satisfaction of our customers, distributors in reference to the sale of spare parts Active participation in any relevant special actions/projects Create, maintain & distribute any relevant management information/KPIs Oversight of all invoices / credit returns in line with current process timeline Authorise supplier invoices for payment Operationally oversee the smooth running of the office by ensuring the parts controllers carry out their daily duties, not limited to sales ordering, TOA order logging, telephone calls, credits, emails are responded to within 24 hour timescale Major escalation point for internal and external customers, suppliers and transport companies Monitor & mentor team members, recommending / organising training needs including Employee Dialogues UK & European travel when required Monthly meetings with the warehouse on issues and processes Carry out new starter inductions when required Resolving parts IT issues with the relevant IT contacts in Germany Attend, ED/Supplier/engineer meetings where necessary/relevant Internal tool procurement & management thereof Monitor parts KPI achievement and improvement Ensure effective inventory management Tasks and Qualifications: Who are we looking for?
