Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons to students
* Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations
* Provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
* Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary learning opportunities
* Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Science
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching Science at the secondary school level
Knowledge and Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Effective classroom management abilities
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
* Experience implementing innovative teaching methods and technologies
Working Conditions:
* Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional evening or weekend events
* Classroom environment in a secondary school setting
* Interaction with students, parents, and fellow teachers on a daily basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
