JOB OVERVIEW
The Transformation Lead Nurse for Urgent & Emergency Care is a pivotal role within the Trust’s senior leadership team. The postholder will contribute to the development, implementation and delivery of the Trust’s strategic and operational objectives to provide high quality Urgent & Emergency Care services and promote a culture that is progressive, inclusive and driven by a core set of values. The Transformation Lead Nurse for Urgent & Emergency Care has responsibility on behalf of the Chief Operating Officer for the delivery of the Trust’s Urgent & Emergency Care improvement programme. The postholder will work closely with Divisional leadership teams, the Associate Medical Director (on behalf of the Executive Medical Officer) and the Chief Operating Officer to ensure that Urgent & Emergency Care services are safe, responsive and effective for the patients that we serve. The postholder will act as a role model for outstanding leadership and management and play a vital role in delivering evidence-based best practice in Urgent & Emergency Care services in line with the Trust’s vision, values and strategic goals. The postholder will work closely with partners across the Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Integrated Care System to ensure patients receive high quality Urgent & Emergency Care in the most appropriate setting.
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
This postholder will work closely with the Divisional Leadership Teams, and colleagues from the Executive Medical Director’s Office, Executive Director of Nursing Office and the Chief Operating Officer’s Office to lead, co-ordinate and advise on all elements of Urgent & Emergency Care improvement. _The main duties and responsibilities have been outlined within the candidate information pack attached._
