MAXX is one of ONQOR Groups' first public acquisitions. Based out of Newbury, West Berkshire, MAXX is a full-service agency with a history and reputation of maintaining incredibly long-standing relationships with clients and partners in the industry.
This role will work directly within the MAXX social media function but with strong links and opportunities within the wider group.
The role
We are seeking a highly creative and organised Senior Social Media Manager who knows social inside and out. We require a social native who can hit the ground running with proven success managing and growing accounts across B2B and B2C markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing social media strategies for our clients across various platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and more. The ideal candidate should understand social media platforms, trends, analytics, and content creation to drive engagement and growth for our clients' brands.
Key responsibilities
* Work directly with our Head of Social to deliver and execute social media strategies for a growing selection of clients.
* Create engaging content, including copy, graphics, and short-form videos, to align with brand guidelines and target audience preferences.
* Monitor and analyse social media metrics to inform strategy adjustments and report on performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, videographers and account managers, to ensure seamless execution of social media campaigns.
* Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to continuously improve the performance of content.
* Manage client relationships by providing regular updates, performance reports, and proactive recommendations for improvement.
* An ability to be flexible and use hybrid working to the benefit of you and your team.
Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in social media management, specifically with at least one previous role in a marketing agency environment (or similar).
* Proven and evidenced track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and platforms.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Later or similar social media management tools.
* Strong understanding of analytics tools and how to use them to inform strategy adjustments.
* Passion for staying current with social media trends, algorithms and platform developments.
