About the Job:
As a Panel Beater at our Sunderland location, you will be vital in restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition. You will repair and replace body components in accordance with BSI PAS 10125 and manufacturer standards. In this dynamic team environment, you will utilize specialist body repair equipment to determine the best methods for repairs, helping us achieve site targets while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Restore damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition by repairing and replacing body components.
* Assess the most effective methods for conducting repairs and use specialist body repair equipment to achieve the best results.
* Adhere to BSI PAS 10125 and manufacturer repair standards.
* Collaborate with your team to achieve site targets.
* Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all repairs.
* Keep a clean and tidy work area, following health and safety guidelines at all times.
About You:
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Experience as a panel beater or multiskilled technician with a background in accident repair.
* Strong technical skills and knowledge of panel beating techniques and equipment.
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* The ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and repair damage efficiently.
* Ideally, you will be ATA/NVQ qualified, and we're committed to supporting you in renewing these qualifications to further enhance your skills and expertise.
