Key Responsibilities:
6. Installation and commissioning of commercial audio visual, control, and video conferencing solutions across the UK & Europe
7. Follow all system documentation such as project brief, system schematics, rack elevations, room elevations, mechanical and electrical mark ups and furniture
8. Consistently drive a high level of engineering quality for both yourself and fellow colleagues
9. Manage, report and co-ordinate van stock levels, cable usage and tool states with Regional Technical Manager & project support team
10. Working with the Project Co-Ordination team, manage all product returns and van stock levels
11. Assess potential site risks and hazards to add to the existing site-specific risk and method statements
12. Function as the focal point for internal and external engineering communication and documentation in the absence of a Project Manager
13. Coordinate activities with general contractor, construction manager, owner, and other trades as required
14. Provide regular reports to Regional Technical Management and Project Managers
15. Regularly inspect installation work and assess against the Visavvi engineering standards documentation
16. Test or certify the performance of installed systems
Skills and Experience
17. Excellent installation knowledge of commercial AV products and brands ( Extron, Harman, Crestron, Biamp & Polycom)
18. Solid background working across the audio visual industry
19. Comfortable working in a field based role, covering the surrounding regions
