Attendance & Welfare Officer Job Start Date: As soon as possible Contact Term: Permanent Salary: Scale 5 (Pts 12-17) Actual Salary: £22,621 - £24,539 per annum Hours: 35 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 1 TE Day Would you like to make a difference to the lives of young people? We are looking for a dynamic individual to support students and parents in promoting a positive culture around attendance and punctuality. You will be expected to: Provide advice, support and guidance To recognise the needs of the individual student To form strong relationships with parents, students and colleagues Good communication skills and team work To oversee the school's attendance procedures, ensuring that official registers are accurately maintained and attendance trends are monitored and to reduce any levels of unauthorised absence which reflect the policies and values of The Chase You will be able to work with integrity and display sound judgement, respecting confidentiality at all times and must possess the confidence to work with young people, as well as parents.
