As Buyer reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll lead the buying of raw materials, packaging, and merchandise whilst maintaining robust service levels through the delivery of supplier management.

This Buyer role offers the opportunity to work in the Supply Chain team who are responsible for the purchasing, planning, warehousing, and packaging technology for their directly manufactured products.
Day-to-day you’ll be negotiating with suppliers, monitoring key markets, taking the lead at project meetings, supporting NPD, working closely with key stakeholders, and managing a direct report.
This role will be suitable for a person with food manufacturing experience where you’ve been involved directly with the purchase or supply of raw materials and/or stock control.
This could be as Junior Buyer, Buying Assistant, Procurement Admin or similar who can lead and drive negotiations with suppliers, be commercial aware, advanced level of IT skills, including Microsoft, and ideally MRP systems.
The team typically spend three days per week at site with the remaining time at home.
