About The Role
We are seeking an ERP Functional Support Manager to lead the ERP Functional team. You will have responsibility for the effective management of the Enterprise Resource Planning system using the Dynamics 365 platform. Managing a team of around 6 people.
Responsible for the maintenance and development of the finance and operations modules within the Dynamics 365 application set, ensuring that the appropriate controls and reporting requirement infrastructures are in place to allow AO to accurately manage finance, Supply Chain and WMS for their financial and Operational areas using Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
1. Lead a high performing team.
* Seek to continually improve the ERP system processes, system controls and system performance in accordance with business requirements.
* Facilitate close working relationships between the SMEs and the wider business including Business Process Owners.
* Lead the maintenance, updating and improvement activities of the Dynamics 365 ERP suite, co-ordinate these activities between SMEs and business process owners.
* Own, develop, draft and deliver an ERP functional improvement strategy and ensure this is delivered to time and budget. Ensuring it is aligned with the ERP Strategy by collaborating with the other members of the ERP management team.
* Ensure that the business and user needs of AO are fully met by the deployed modules of Dynamics 365.
* Communicate effectively both upwards, outwards and downwards on issues and developments with clear recommendations and associated action plans to resolve problems and deliver improvements.
* Develop and enhance contacts outside of AO to identify and understand how other organisations manage their Dynamics ERP systems, share lessons and information, and implement changes to incorporate best practise.
* Provide support to the ERP Team and the wider business community to ensure the Dynamics 365 system meets the Company’s needs.
* Oversee the technical translation of and alignment to IT strategic direction for Dynamics 365 F&O.
* Manage the development of Dynamics 365 and management of business relationships to deliver key service improvement activities in line with project and business as usual activities.
* Act as a Dynamics 365 subject matter expert and advocate for IT across the organisation.
* Ensure that the Dynamics 365 practice(s) develops continuously so that the right tools, methods, and skills are in place to support business outcomes and provide a consistent level of service to the organisation.

2. Experience of business process improvement - an advocate of change.
* Experience of IT change management.
* Ability to manage support partners and vendors.
* Detailed functional knowledge of one or more Dynamics 365 ERP modules would be an advantage.
* Extensive demonstrable knowledge and practical experience of management of ERP systems and ERP management teams.
* Demonstrable practical experience of working in or closely with HR, Finance and Logistics.
* Working knowledge of Project management methodologies.
* Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
* Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and corporate level.
* Experience of successfully presenting to senior leadership and customer management.
* Team management, mentoring and coaching experience.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs.
* Understanding of Cloud based technology and Solution Architecture principles.
* Experience of leading Dynamics 365 delivery, configuration and ongoing management working across business functions and vendors.
* Experience of working in organisations undergoing significant transformation.
* Experience of software ERP implementation methodologies.
* Knowledge of other key technologies e.g. Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, Mulesoft, Adobe AEM.
* Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of detailed technical concepts and to apply this understanding to everyday business problems.
* Strong influencing skills with both internal staff and external stakeholders with the ability to provide clear and non-technical advice/interpretation of complex information.
