We’re looking for a Supplier Compliance Officer to play a key role in developing and shaping this new role within our compliance function. You’ll be working closely with the line manager to develop and improve processes, ensuring supplier compliance and quality standards are met.
This will be a hands-on role, working directly on the shop floor, warehouse, and with suppliers. The role will be varied, and you will be working in a fast-paced environment where every day is different.
What you’ll do:
* Carrying out spot checks on stock in the warehouse and on the shop floor
* Supporting supplier audits and ensuring quality standards are met
* Investigating issues on-site, working closely with shop floor teams and suppliers
* Assisting in testing materials and reporting results
* Handling customer complaints and helping to resolve any quality issues
* Managing and updating supplier compliance records
What you’ll bring:
* Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with quality or compliance based background
* Someone who enjoys a hands-on role, working in a production environment
* A keen eye for detail and an organized approach
* Great communication skills to work with teams across different levels
* A proactive mindset – someone who enjoys solving problems on the ground
