Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
Come and join one of the UK's largest providers of complex care. We proudly employ over 4000+ people - no matter what your experience, we have jobs for everyone.
Main Duties of the Job
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (experience equivalent to Band 6 or 7) to join our friendly, supportive team. This is a unique opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of our patients as they navigate their rehabilitation journey.
Working across our neurorehabilitation services in Blackheath and Chislehurst, both located in South East London, you will play a vital role in helping service users rebuild their lives following an acquired/traumatic brain injury and/or other complex neurological condition.
The two services are part of the Active Care Group Neuro Network (consisting of 25+ sites nationally) and focus on the use of clinical expertise, innovation, and technology to meet patients' expectations of their rehabilitation goals.
This dual role allows candidates to showcase their skills and experience as part of a highly specialist inter-disciplinary team, within a hospital setting, at our established and regionally renowned inpatient service in Blackheath, while simultaneously providing the opportunity to follow patients along their care pathway into slow stream, post-acute rehabilitation at our newly established facility in Chislehurst.
Through this integrative, transitional approach, the post-holder will make a significant impact across different phases of the patients' rehabilitation, demonstrating versatility and dedication to holistic care.
