Job Description:
1. Responsible for executing electrical activities of the plant and for the safety work practice in the Electricity on the facility under supervision of RPE, ensuring that activities are performed correctly, timely and in an efficient manner, in compliance with schedules, MODEC procedures, maintenance philosophy, national and international regulations and standards, in order to contribute so that all electrical equipment and systems are operational and preserved for the assigned unit.
2. Carry out or supervise 3rd party employees in all services and operations related to the Electrical discipline, in order to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all plant and machinery in the unit, as well as emergency equipment, thus contributing to the production and revenue target achievement.
3. Contribute in emergency situations, or emergency drills, according to function attributed inside the Emergency response plan, participating in all trainings, simulations and acting properly in a real situation, in accordance with MODEC's procedures, guidelines, as well as national and international regulations.
4. Ensure Work Orders are duly closed and detailed information is filled out in CMMS, following the appropriate templates, after the completion of every Electrical work onboard, by updating the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and providing constant feedback from the execution with the Electrical Supervisor.
5. Contribute to the organization and cleanliness of the Electrical Worksite, as well as the control and inspection of tools, in order to ensure their availability, correct use, and conservation.
6. Contribute with the perfect functioning of the equipment by reporting to the Electrical Supervisor all deficiencies, malfunctions and any abnormality. Discuss and analyze technical and spares parts issues with the Electrical Supervisor as well as propose solutions to improve the equipment performance based on RCA techniques, using technical knowledge and experience.
7. Support the unit's annual budget planning (expenses and investments), when required, by providing the Electrical Supervisor with information about resources, replacements, services and materials needs and other expenses used in its activities.
