The Role :
We are seeking a passionate Humanities Teacher to work at a SEN School based in Newmarket. As a Humanities Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach History, Geography, and Religious Studies to students with diverse needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and emotional and behavioural challenges. You'll be instrumental in creating engaging, student-centered lessons that cater to the individual needs of each child, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated Humanities lessons to small groups or one-to-one, ensuring lessons meet the individual needs of students.
* Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment that encourages learning, independence, and personal growth.
* Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and setting realistic, achievable goals.
* Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support the overall development of each student.
* Contribute to the development of school policies and strategies that promote inclusion and well-being for all students.
What We're Looking For:
* A qualified teacher with a degree in Humanities or a related field, and a passion for teaching.
* Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, especially in a SEN or inclusive setting.
* A deep understanding of SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges.
* DBS (or the willingness to apply)
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
