We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individuals with experience in delivering a range of activities to young people in primary schools. We have a range of casual hours currently available to be worked on an ad hoc basis. Work will predominantly take place in schools located around the Oldham borough and also supporting on Sports Development activities that run within OCL facilities, however during school holiday periods work will be undertaken to support on school holiday camps and activities both in OCL sites and at local events. OCL currently deliver to 50 Primary schools across the borough, offering a range of activities. The successful candidate will be asked to support the delivery of the In School Coaching Programme, delivering high quality curriculum PE lessons and extra-curricular clubs. In addition, Sport Development provide leadership, health and wellbeing programmes, dance and early years. The Sports Development service provides young people with a wide range of year-round Sport, Dance and physical activity opportunities, including daytime, evenings, weekends and holiday periods. Activities are delivered across School, Community and Leisure Facility settings, with the aim of increasing participation levels. The role will require flexibility to work across various school and facilities. The ideal candidate will possess: Experience of delivering sport / PE based activities within a school environment Experience of delivering out of school activities Experience of working with children and young people across the age and ability range. Experience of working with teaching staff to plan and prepare lessons and learning activities. An NGB Level 2 Qualification or equivalent This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for career progression and development within a forward-thinking leisure trust.
