A well-established and expanding contractor is looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The company works within social housing maintenance - both planned and reactive. They are now moving to offer their established client base the delivery of retrofit contracts to tenanted social housing properties, operating under the PAS regulations and the SHDF.

Reporting to the Directors of the business, you will be responsible for dealing with contracts at a high level and assisting in the growth and continued expansion of the renewable energy division. Duties will include:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the business, while also managing best practices.
* Manage renewable energy contracts from pre-construction/survey, through to delivery, and aftercare stages.
* Manage a team consisting of several Contracts Managers and their subsequent reports.
* Deliver successful presentations to clients.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
* Promote and maintain the highest standards of health and safety.
* Financial reporting.
The successful candidate must be personable, approachable, and able to demonstrate strong leadership, commercial, and people management skills.
Minimum Requirements:
* You must have a strong construction background and knowledge of the delivery of retrofit contracts within social housing.
* Knowledge of PAS:2035.
* IOSH, NEBOSH tickets are ideal but not essential.
This position is based within the company's head office in Greater Manchester and will require some site travel across the North West.
