Due to an increased workload and expanding team we have an opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our team based in Falmouth. What you will do: Subject to your skills and experience you will: Handle initial inquiries. Provide administrative support, including typing and dictation, primarily for one lawyer within the team. Manage the receipt and filing of electronic mail and collate enclosures and other documents for outgoing correspondence. Make and receive telephone calls, progressing matters under supervision. Draft letters and other documents under supervision. Work on matters from file opening to file closing, offering the opportunity to learn about the progression of various matters. Skills and Experience you need: Excellent telephone manner and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Flexible and dependable. Conscientious, approachable, and enthusiastic. Experience in legal secretarial work is advantageous but not essential within a private client setting. Hours This is a full time position. 35 hours a week Monday to Friday however we welcome applications from candidates looking for alternative working arrangements.
