This is an enjoyable and rewarding position for someone who is caring and dedicated to making a difference to the lives of children and their families.
This is a countywide service, and we welcome applicants from across Devon.
The Multi-Sensory Impairment Service are seeking two flexible and enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for working with children.

Our support covers three main areas:
* Orientation and mobility
* Communication
* Learning and development
We are looking to recruit to our team to provide support for deafblind children and young people both in their education setting and in a social capacity, supporting them to access a wide range of activities. As a service, we aim to provide consistency for the young people we support and work closely with other professionals to provide this. We cover a variety of sessions including school day, evenings, weekends, and school holidays.
The role of an MSW will include supporting our children and young people in all aspects of daily living. Many of our children and young people have additional needs beyond their deafblind status, and a caring nature, respecting their privacy and dignity while delivering personal care and medication is essential.
We support in both mainstream and specialist schools for education.
The children and young people you support may be based in various locations across the county, so we welcome applications from candidates throughout Devon. We will aim to keep travel to a minimum for you.
