Job Title: Food and Beverage Manager Reporting To: General Manager About Us: The Address Hotel Glasgow is located in the heart of Glasgow, offering an exceptional guest experience. With a busy breakfast service, a stylish bar and restaurant NORTH, and versatile meeting and event spaces, we are looking for an experienced, dynamic Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the operations across all these areas. This is an exciting opportunity to take a hands-on role in driving high-quality service, menu design, and team performance while maintaining operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage daily operations across the hotel’s breakfast service, bar, restaurant, and meeting & event spaces Lead the development and execution of menus, ensuring that offerings are in line with brand standards and guest expectations Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and performance to ensure a motivated, efficient team Control stock levels, implement stock taking procedures, and manage the procurement of goods via the Procure Wizard system Ensure all food and beverage operations comply with health and safety standards, hygiene regulations, and licensing laws Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality products Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and maximising profitability in all food and beverage areas Deliver exceptional customer service through effective team leadership, guest engagement, and training Support the planning and execution of meeting and event services, working closely with the office and kitchen teams to meet client needs Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure operational excellence and identify areas for improvement Foster a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on innovation, staff development, and guest satisfaction What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in food and beverage management, ideally within a hotel or multi-outlet environment Strong leadership and team management skills with a passion for developing staff A deep understanding of menu design, food cost management, and operational processes Experience with payroll management, stock control, and procurement systems (knowledge of Procure Wizard is an advantage) Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of service Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting and cost control Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends A background in managing events services is desirable Relevant qualifications in food safety, personal license, health and safety, or hospitality management would be beneficial What We Offer: Competitive salary Opportunities for career growth and professional development Staff discounts within The Address Collective A dynamic and collaborative work environment The chance to make an impact on a well-regarded hotel’s F&B offering and guest experience If you’re a hands-on leader with a passion for food and beverage operations and looking for your next challenge, we’d love to hear from you
