Description | Salary £25,183 - £27,269 Per annum | Fixed Term, Full Time, until 30/11/2026, 37 hours per week | Customer Access Service | International Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship We are looking to recruit a Bi-Lingual (English and Ukrainian) speaker to join the Homes for Ukraine team within the Customer Access Service. You will be dealing with English and Ukrainian customers to assist them with navigating the Homes for Ukraine scheme and life in the UK. You will also be responsible for carrying out administrative duties and keeping accurate records using our customer record management systems. As part of this role, you may also be dealing with other resettled communities supporting Lancashire Refugee Integration Team. The successful candidate will ideally possess A good level of English and Ukrainian An understanding of the difficulties facing Ukrainian guests that are arriving in the UK A willingness to help others Good attention to detail Experience in customer service The ability to work as part of a team Basic knowledge of computer systems We welcome applications from anyone with lived experience of migrating into the UK. What is my role? You will liaise with customers via a variety of different channels including telephone & email, to assist with multiple aspects of the scheme such as checking visa statuses, claiming welcome payments, finding a community hub, moving into independent accommodation, assisting with UPE guidance and much more. When you join us, your Customer Access journey will start with bespoke in-house training. We want you to feel comfortable and supported in giving the best possible service to the people of Lancashire. The initial training period will be done in our Accrington office, however following this training period you will be able to work from home the majority of the time. You will still be required to attend the office a minimum of one day per week to spend time with the team and carry out any further training Hours of work? Our opening hours are 09:00am – 17:00pm Monday to Friday. We are able to accommodate requests for full time or part time shift patterns throughout the week to suit your worklife balance, subject to business needs.
