We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Natural Resources team based on site at Harpenden wastewater treatment site in Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities
Kier is a strategic partner to Thames Water for AMP7 and AMP8 on Capital Frameworks across the Thames Water supply and treatment regions. We deliver design & build services for new and existing infrastructure assets (below ground) and non-infrastructure assets (above ground). As our Electrical Project Engineer, you will be working within our Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme (WAAP). You will work alongside other Project Engineers to ensure that these MEICA focused projects are delivered in line with Kier's and the Thames Water KPI's. This particular major project site at Harpenden is a wastewater site upgrade and resilience project.
Your day-to-day will include:
1. Engage with the direct and supply chain workforce matters of Health, Safety and Wellbeing, leading by example on leading indicators to promote engagement.
2. Selection of Mechanical & Electrical supply chain and package scope based on technical and commercial judgement, in consideration of client frameworks and a willingness to challenge where there is a programme or commercial opportunity.
3. Supervise work to ensure that it is carried out in accordance with method statements and work instructions from the project manager.
4. Accountability for the review and management of MEICA design outputs from our design partners.
5. Work with MEICA site supervisors and commissioning engineers to monitor site progress and check the works are in line with the approved designs.
What are we looking for?
This role of Electrical Project Engineer is great for you if you hold:
* Industry experience within water and of commissioning electrical plant in wastewater.
* BEng/ ONC/ HNC/ BTEC qualified Mechanical or engineer.
* CSCS card, SSSTS & Confined Spaces.
* Experience in reviewing RAMS and understanding the risks associated with process plant installations.
* Full driving licence.
