Key duties and responsibilities include: Ensure contracted performance and quality standards are delivered across all gtd healthcare urgent care services within Greater Manchester and elsewhere, within scope of the job role. Work with the clinical leadership teams within gtd to ensure there is continual development of skills to deliver safe and effective care. Provide visible and credible leadership to in-scope services. Ensure urgent care services within the roles responsibility are maximizing income and operating within the financial resources available. Ensure all gtd healthcare services within the remit of the role comply with regulatory standards. Work closely and collaboratively with all central teams to ensure gtd policies and procedures are compliant with national legislation and our NHS contracts. Ensure compliance with gtd healthcare policies by all gtd staff working in our urgent care services. Develop and maintain highly effective and visible relationships with commissioning colleagues and other stakeholder partners. Work closely with colleagues from the Greater Manchester Urgent Primary Care Alliance to ensure gtd healthcare are contributing effectively to the delivery of our collective shared services across Greater Manchester. Act as the CQC registered manager for urgent care services within the postholders portfolio. Be the responsible senior manager for ensuring gtd healthcares occupied premises for delivering urgent care services within the scope of the role, are fit for purpose, and meet both health and safety and CQC standards. Lead innovation and service development across gtd urgent care services in Greater Manchester, and beyond where appropriate, continually improve clinical quality and safety, patient experience, efficiency and performance. Attendance at relevant commissioner urgent care boards (or equivalent) and other related system groups, in agreement with the Chief Operating Officer and other colleagues Lead gtd officer at commissioner contract and performance meetings for services within scope of the role. Be able to travel extensively in order to provide effective leadership through;-Gaining a deep understanding of services-Being highly visible to staff-Developing credibility across all stakeholders.
