Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Motor Trade Service Advisor within our Clients Motor Trade facility in Stevenage.
You will need experience of working on the front desk in a customer-facing service advisor/aftersales advisor role, with motor trade experience within a main dealer setup.
A team player is essential as you will be working with other service advisors, vehicle technicians, and the service manager.
A full driving license is also essential, preferably clean but with no more than 6 points.
Starting salary of £28,000 to £30,000 depending on experience and an OTE of £40,000.
This is a Monday to Friday position, from 08:00 to 18:00, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a team rota.
As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department. Your primary goal will be to assist customers with their vehicle service needs and ensure their satisfaction.
Duties:
1. Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome to the service department.
2. Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle issues.
3. Provide recommendations for necessary repairs or maintenance based on customer concerns and vehicle inspections.
4. Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer.
5. Schedule appointments for vehicle repairs or maintenance.
6. Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
7. Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process.
8. Handle payment transactions and maintain accurate records of payments received.
9. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills:
1. Strong upselling skills to promote additional services or products.
2. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
3. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
