Description
City University is looking for coaches in the following teams (Women's Hockey & Table Tennis Men's & Women's) and is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and enthusiastic part-time coach to help train, strengthen, and support our BUCS squads.
Our clubs are student-led, with an executive committee supported by City support and the Students' Union. Coaches are expected to work closely with our BUCS Captain and communicate regularly with the squads, providing constructive feedback that pushes our athletes to develop as collectives and individuals.
Requirements
Having a coach with previous track records of success in high levels of competition will be beneficial in understanding the competitive nature of BUCS play. The ability to work well with young adults is essential, as our team members are university students. Coaching qualifications in the appropriate sport and First Aid training are desirable.
Priorities
One of our top priorities is having a communicable, committed coach who will be organized and consistently turn up to the required training days and times.
Training Times
Hockey Women's train at Lee Valley Hockey & Tennis Centre (E20 3AD) on Monday evenings. Table Tennis Men's & Women's train at CitySport (EC1V 7DP) on Friday afternoons/evenings. We require a coach for our teams at training above and on Wednesdays for when the fixtures are played for our teams in their respective BUCS Leagues. Wednesday times and hours will vary depending on whether the match is home or away.
Payment
Hourly rate (dependent on experience, coaching level/qualifications).
