SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Gloucester
Pay: £85-£100 per day (based on experience)

We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive SEN school in Gloucester! This wonderful school provides excellent facilities, a nurturing leadership team, and all the resources needed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
We are currently hiring multiple Teaching Assistants to support students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. If you have experience working with children or in a school setting and are passionate about supporting students with additional needs, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs, ensuring they stay engaged and progress in their learning.
2. Collaborate with teachers to maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
3. Assist with the social, emotional, and behavioural development of students, helping them build confidence and independence.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience working with children, ideally those with SEN or SEMH needs.
2. A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
4. Flexibility to adapt to different learning needs and approaches.
Desirable (but not essential):
1. A DBS on the update system.
2. A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
