Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Plater Fabricator. You will be responsible for carrying out trade-specific tasks, including fabrication, structural repairs, and maintenance of naval vessels.

About the Role
">
In this role, you will work closely with our experienced team members to deliver high-quality results. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out trade-specific point of work risk assessments before every task
* Ensuring all tools and equipment used are suitable, fit for purpose, and in date for any inspection required
* Attending all training courses, toolbox talks, and briefings where possible
* Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, managing their expectations and needs
* Reporting all accidents, incidents, and near misses via the appropriate reporting tool

Requirements
">
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Have completed an appropriate trade apprenticeship or qualifications (NVQ in Trade)
* Experience in fabrication and structural repair
* Be competent in using a wide range of hand tools and equipment
* Relevant industry experience – Marine, Oil & Gas, Heavy Construction, Rolling Stock
* Ability to work at heights and confined spaces
