What You'll Do: As an ICT Operations Analyst, you will be the backbone of our ICT operations, responsible for: Monitoring & Management: Proactively and reactively manage alerts, ensuring that system performance and availability parameters are met. Incident Response: Provide timely responses to incidents and requests, escalating as needed to maintain service levels. Collaboration: Work alongside the wider ICT team to share best practises and provide technical guidance to staff. Problem Identification: Identify and analyse trends within the ICT estate, collaborating with the problem manager for root cause analysis. Operational Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance tasks, ensuring all documentation is current and operational processes are followed. Capacity Management: Advise on capacity requirements and ensure adequate file storage is available. Who You Are: To excel in this role, you should have: Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Azure, ServiceNow, Solarwinds, SCOM, and SCCM. Proactive Approach: An analytical mindset with experience in supporting both on-premises and cloud services. ITIL Familiarity: Knowledge of ITIL event and access management processes. Team Player: Proven ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision. Communication Skills: Ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience clearly. Technical Skills: Understanding of Microsoft Server technologies and enterprise backup solutions. Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to undergo a vetting process. A Basic Driving Assessment will be required for the use of a police-authorised vehicle.
