This long term role offers a great opportunity for progression, development and a sense of achievement. Students who attend this school have various backgrounds, and are all on EHCPS. Do you have experience of SEMH, Trauma and Challenging behaviour? Are you confident in building relationships, de-escalating and preventing challenging behaviour or supporting those who sturggle to regulate their emotions?

Your role & responsibilities as a Youth Worker:
- Work closely with teachers, school staff, and parents to implement behaviour support plans.
- De-escalator, Prevent and Support students in regulating emotions
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with behavioural needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the school setting.
Non-negotiables as a Youth Worker:
- Proven experience working with children
- A minimum of 6 months UK based experience
- Good understanding of SEMH
- Resilient, Reliable and Engaging Individual
