Description
* Leading the financial strategy and ensuring long-term financial health.
* Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Managing risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
* Supporting the executive team with strategic decision-making.
* Working closely with stakeholders to ensure value for money and strong financial governance.
* Lead and manage the accounting & finance department
* Develop and implement effective financial strategies
* Reviewing all processes and procedures
Profile
A successful Interim Finance Director should have:
* Qualified accountant
* Proven experience as a Finance Director within social housing sector
* Experience of reporting and presenting complex information to Boards or Committee
* Experience of strategic finance, business planning and cost analysis
* Evidence of developing processes and procedures
* Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
* Experience of performance improvement, quality assurance, risk management and value for money improvement
* Proficiency in accounting software
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop teams
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Offer
* £550 - £650 a day
* Hybrid role - 2 days on site
* 3-6 month role
