MEP BIM Co-ordinator This role is responsible for checking and clash detection of the BIM information through ProjectWise and iTwin to assure alignment with the client’s requirements. The MEP team are based at South Ruislip offices and will require to visit other areas of the project (East and West London) as and when required. The MEP team are overseeing the production of the Stage 5 Design, this will be undertaken by the supply chain (MEP / Architectural). The production of the Stage 5 Design information must conform to the company BIM requirements, it is the responsibility of the MEP BIM Co-ordinator to ensure the supply chain comply. The MEP BIM Co-ordinator is responsible for Co-ordinate and monitor weekly BIM data drops from the supply chain Model federation Checking BIM co-ordination in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan. Checking embedded BIM meta data of in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan. Clash detection of BIM models in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan. Attending weekly clash detection meetings with the company supply chain Assurance of BIM Quality and reporting BIM quality issues to the MEP BIM Manager Carry out works in accordance with the Stage 5 Design for Manufacture & Construction Assurance Strategy Fostering and maintaining a good working relationship with the SCS supply chain Required Qualifications & Skills Recognised qualification from a MEP background Desirable to have Architectural or Structural experience although not essential. Experience across all stages of a project lifecycle. Experience of working within large infrastructure project environments Experience of clash detection Bentley AECOSim capable Bentley Projectwise capable Autodesk Navisworks capable Desirable to have Bentley iTwin experience although not essential Desirable to have Autodesk Revit experience although not essential 3D CAD Production on a Civil Engineering Project Good understanding BIM principles and PAS1192
