The Opportunity:
Adobe's Education Engagement Marketing team exists to drive the long-term use of Adobe’s creative tools with students and universities. We develop and deliver Adobe’s global engagement marketing plans with a particular focus on Adobe Express.
The Senior Marketing Manager for EMEA Students will lead a cross-functional team that creates innovative and impactful marketing programs that drive product usage. This role requires a marketer who has strong interpersonal and leadership skills and loves to get hands-on with running marketing campaigns directly. They are excellent at influencing disparate orgs, stakeholders, and senior leaders, as well as leading campaigns end-to-end, and presenting to execs. They’re a self-starter, thriving in fast-paced environments, with a passion for innovative marketing, testing, learning, and iterating quickly, and have demonstrated exceptional attention to detail in the reporting and communicating of results.
What you’ll do:
1. Campaign Strategy and Execution:
o Lead a team of marketers and customer success managers to run integrated marketing campaigns that drive product usage with university students in the UK.
o Run high-touch events and build community strategies that engage and influence decision makers and faculty at universities to encourage adoption of Adobe tools in curriculum and student life.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Lead and virtually coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., product marketing, integrated marketing, customer success, strategic development, go-to-market, and data science).
o Partner with global and local teams to devise messaging, positioning, and product needs.
3. Reporting:
o Provide weekly reporting on important metrics, value, and market insights to inform decision-making and optimize future campaigns.
o Present marketing plans, campaign performance, and insights to senior leadership in the US and UK.
4. Budget Management:
o Manage allocated budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and improving value on marketing investments, and provide compelling, data-driven inputs for additional funding to support the business.
What You’ll Need To Succeed:
* Significant experience in marketing to University student audiences. Experience in enterprise B2B marketing is a plus.
* Track record of developing and running successful campaigns (ideally aimed at university students) either agency or client-side.
* A self-starter, highly effective at influencing, motivating, and virtually leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive narratives for executive leadership.
* Proficient in using data to measure campaign performance and drive insights using self-service dashboards (Power BI) and working with data science teams on needs. Strong Excel skills are highly desirable. Ability to translate data into clear, compelling presentations for senior leadership.
* Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving global organization. Very comfortable with change on a quarterly basis.
