Due to one of our amazing team members moving on, we have a full-time teaching position that will begin at the start of June. Currently, this position will be teaching a class of Year 2 and 3 students. Our kura has students from Years 1-6 and is located in the semi-rural setting of Kirwee. We are part of a wonderful community, and our students are supported to model our school values of Moemoeā: Aim High, Mātauranga: Be Curious, Manawanui: Embrace Challenge and Manaakitanga: Choose Kindness. The kaupapa of PB4L is woven through all we do, and our school has a lovely feel with our older learners supporting and guiding younger tamariki.
The successful applicant will be a team player who will work with us to achieve our vision of growing meaningful relationships, making positive choices, and being part of a connected community.
Experience with Numicon or the Little Learners Love Literacy programme would be an advantage.
