Main duties of the job Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist Band 6 part time ( 22.5hrs) 12 months fixed term contract Tissue Viability Service Basildon, Brentwood and Thurrock. As part of this small team you will be responsible for the assessment and management of patients with complex wounds across the ICB. Supporting our community nursing teams, practice nurses and GPs, care homes and nursing homes in working with patients with chronic wounds. Participating in clinical research, Audits, promoting the service to the wider MDT. The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously and have experience of wound management including compression bandaging and dopplers.
