Salary: From £55k per annum dependant on experience.

Where I'd work: The role is based in our Control Room and is part of our Central Control function based in Bradford. We expect a minimum of 4 days per week on site within our Control Room or operational sites as required.
Work type: Permanent. Working full time, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm. As the role leads a set of 24/7 teams we can consider alternate working windows and flexibility.
Role Overview: We have an exciting opportunity for a Resilience & Response Manager to join us in the Central Control function at Yorkshire Water. You will play an integral role in continuous delivery of exceptional service to our 5 million customers, both household and non-household.
What we do: We ensure that over 5.4 million people living in the region can rely on our services for clean and safe drinking water and wastewater management. We protect the environment and plan for Yorkshire's water needs 24/7, 365 days a year.
Where you fit in: Our Control Room manages the alarm estate across water and waste, including 150,000 alarm points in Wastewater. You will lead our 24/7 wastewater teams, ensuring outstanding performance and effective incident management while meeting the needs of internal and external customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of our Wastewater 24/7 teams, focusing on achieving alarm SLAs, mitigating risk, and ensuring effective incident responses. You will ensure compliance with all standards to deliver high-quality products efficiently.
Skills & Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a strong Water Industry background, experience in waste operations, and process-led continuous improvement. Recent management experience is essential, with a track record of managing change and improving processes. Knowledge of relevant legislation is highly desirable.
Your structure will include 7 direct reports and 18 indirect reports. You will need to be a confident communicator with strong influencing skills and be able to hold colleagues accountable for performance against company targets.
You will have strong commercial awareness, proven numeracy, and quantitative analysis skills, along with problem-solving abilities for complex business issues. A valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points is required.
