Overview:
An opportunity has arisen for event day Chefs to join us on a casual basis. The main purpose of the role is to provide guests with an excellent customer experience serving a variety of food and drinks in our in-house concessions outlets.
Hours of work:
This role is offered on a Casual Worker basis with no guarantee of work.
Shift assignments are fully flexible and may include early starts, late finishes and weekend working
Rates of pay for this role start from £14.90p/h
Job Description
1. Preparation of hot and cold food at pace to set specification and consistent quality
2. Providing excellent service to FOH so they can deliver the best experience to our customers
3. Ensure that all food standards are delivered and maintained in all operational areas
4. To personally demonstrate that you take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others
5. Ensure you are fully compliant with all training requirements from Fraser Group
6. Ensure full compliance with Food Safety legislation during every shift worked
7. Forge and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues
8. To actively participate in stock control procedures ensuring we retain the right stock levels for the business, these are costed accurately and that regular stock takes are completed and reported
9. To ensure portion control, correct preparation and storage methods, avoiding wastage and keeping down costs for each unit, flexing requirements, as necessary.
10. To ensure all food preparation is carried out in accordance with food hygiene procedures.
11. To ensure food is prepared to required standards checking for taste, presentation and quality. To deliver food promptly and that you work quickly and efficiently to keep up with demand.
12. Ensure all kitchen paperwork is completed per shift
13. To ensure kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy and attractive during service.
14. Must hold Food Hygiene Level 2
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:
15. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
16. Ability to follow instruction and work as part of a team
17. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
18. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as assigned
19. Excellent communication skills
20. Able to work evenings and weekends
21. Able to work in a fast-paced environment
22. Must have worked in a fast paced kitchen environment previously.
23. Must hold a Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification
