An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Intermediate Care Team based in Randolph Wemyss Community Hospital as part of the Integrated Community Assessment and Support Service (ICASS).
You will require to have NHS experience of working with adults, mainly Older People and have assessment and treatment knowledge and skills associated with this patient group.
Patients are seen in their own homes and in the developing model of Assessment and Rehabilitation Centre. The main focus of the team is preventing unnecessary admission, supporting earliest possible discharge from hospital and enabling patients to remain as independent as possible in their homes.
You will require to have a degree/diploma in Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC. NHS working experience is essential. There may be occasions where you will be required to work in one of the other community hospital sites.
Our service offers regular supervision, PDP and supports training opportunities. The ability to travel in a timely manner throughout the area for this community post is essential.
Public Holiday working is in operation. Working hours flexibly over 6/7 days are part of future developments within ICASS.
Interviews will be held face to face.
A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff.
